Hello Waverunners!

Just a reminder this is a final week of lessons.  The last date for lesson only swimmers is tomorrow, June 28th.

THIS WEEK:

This week is a regular schedule, practice Thursday, meet Thursday night and Fun Friday!

We need EVERY swimmer to RSVP for the county meet.  Coach is trying to piece together relays but without knowing who is available (due to low RSVP response) it is a difficult task. We need a YES or NO from anyone who has participated in a meet this season. Please use the button on the event page under "Calendar."  If our "A" relay swimmers are unable to attend, we will be asking others who are available to fill in. These last 2 meets could mean a change in our top 4 for several age groups.

Our Meet Thursday is at home!  Please have swimmers on deck by 5pm.  The Heat Sheet is attached and published in Meet Mobile for those who have the app.  If first half concession stand workers are available, we start setting up as early as 4pm.  Second half workers please report around 7pm as it helps divide the night evenly.  (For other volunteers we usually switch around event #37 please report an event or two early.)

We still have at least 1 timer position open along with stroke and turn.  YOU MUST HAVE BE STOKE AND TURN CERTIFIED to volunteer in this position.  This was an online class prior to the start of the season.

NEXT WEEK:

Regular practice on Monday, meet home meet Monday Night. RSVP due today! Everyone needs to respond as YES or NO. 

Tuesday will be "fun tuesday!"  10a-11a  Our final donut and ribbons fun swim day.

There will be no other practices this week.  For swimmers not going to county, your season is complete!  For those going to county, please try to get in a few workouts or swims on your own over the holiday week/weekend.

County Practices:

For those swimming in the County Championship Meet; practices will be held Monday-Thursday (July 9-12) from 9am to 10am for all ages.  Please try to attend as it important relays get the chance to practice together.

END OF THE SEASON PARTY, Thursday, July 12:

In an effort to control expenses, we will not be serving a dinner, like in years past.  We have the pool beginning at 5pm.  You are welcome to come up at that time and bring a picnic or take out dinner for your family.  Otherwise, eat at home, come up at 6pm and bring a dessert!  We will start awards around 6:30pm and everyone is welcome to swim (parent monitored, no lifeguards are on duty.)  We will send out a sign up this weekend for the dessert pot luck! Swimmers and their IMMEDIATE families are welcome to attend.
