Waverunners!

Please make sure to read over the document linked below from the Snellville Supersonics about tomorrow's meet. Please pay particular attention to the reporting time, warm-up time, where to sit, and the parking situation.

Team Shirts & Caps: We will be handing these out at practice in the morning, so please be there!

06/02 WAT @ SS Meet Logisitics

• Address: Briscoe Park Pool Sawyer Pkwy SW, Snellville, GA 30078
• Please park appropriately, check documents for specifics
• Theme Meet for Supersonics: Red, White, & Blue - you can choose to follow this theme if you want
• Concession stand: hot dogs, drinks, snacks. Accepts exact cash or debit/credit
• Report time: 5:30
• Time to go into the pool: 5:45 (heavily enforced, do not try to go in previous to this)
• Warms up are at 6:05-6:35
• Bubbe Heat: 6:40
• First events: 6:45

Reminders (since this is our first real meet since 2019!)

• Swimmers pack goggles, team cap, team shirt, competition suit, towel
• It is recommended to bring folding chairs/blankets to sit on
• You are welcome to bring your own cooler for food & drinks
• Please report on time
• Stroke & Turn Judges & Timers: Meet at 6:10 at the starter's table
• Meet volunteers for both shifts: Meet Mary Beth Durham at the staging pole (PVS pole with the numbers hanging from it) at 6:25 to make sure all shifts are covered
• Please label all of your belongings
• We are guests at this pool, let's leave it cleaner than we found it by cleaning up after ourselves

Thursday Morning Practice - Please Attend

We will be doing starts & turns per usual, but we will also be covering relay starts and turns to ensure we are up to date on how relays work! Coaches ask that you try you best to attend tomorrow morning's practice to avoid a DQ at the meet tomorrow night. (We are also handing out team gear as mentioned earlier, so please be there!)

Fun Friday & Stroke Clinic

We will again host Fun Friday from 10 AM - 12 PM on Friday. Kona Ice will be present, and families are welcome to bring their own refreshments if Kona Ice is not your thing. Additionally, we will have our ribbon box to hand out ribbons. It will be located at the first table when you first walk into the pool. Simply find your last name and get your ribbons. 

Coach Ally is offering a Butterfly Stroke Clinic this Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM. This is open to all swimmers, simply show up at 9:30 and join Coach Ally in the pool!
