While tentative, this schedule is a good to the time slots for the different age groups. - Meet schedule can be found on our website. In order for swimmers who qualify for county to participate in the county meet, they must have at least participate in 2 of our 6 swim meets. Unofficially, our coaches expect swimmers to attend all practices, because we cannot get better as swimmers if we are not in the water
- Cost: Due to increased costs, the general state of inflation, and the growth of our team, our cost has changed. Swimmer registration is $200 per swimmer. This includes a swim cap, team shirt, coaching, Fun Friday snacks, spirit gear and team paraphernalia for home meets and the county meet, awards at our team end of season party, and fees for our league & pool. Further details can be found within the registration as well
- Yes, we will be offering lessons. We have lessons for 6 & under swimmers, and can refer our older new swimmers to one of our coaches who do private lessons right here at our Waterton pool
- How do I know if my swimmer can participate in summer swim? If your swimmer can swim freestyle (https://youtu.be/eJWg6BtTwNU) across the long length of the pool we can start them on the team! We will have evaluations at the beginning of the season for those who may need to start in lessons
- What is required of me as a parent: summer swim runs on parent volunteers. We have many spots where help is needed, and we will have a parent meeting and training in April where we show parents what is expected of each volunteer position at the meets. Each family is required to volunteer at each swim meet that their child swims in. Additionally, there must be a responsible, non-swimming adult at practices and swim meets with each swimmer
