Here are some updates & reminders for the remainder of this week and next week:

Practice this Friday & No Practice Memorial Day

There will be no practice on Wednesday, 05/22 for the last day of school. We will have a regular morning practice schedule this Friday 05/24 since we will not practice on Monday 05/27 in observance of Memorial Day. Practice Schedule can be found at the bottom of this email

Time Trial Thursday

Coach Jenna needs to have times for everyone in either their 25 yd events or 50 yd events (10 & Under 25 yd, 11 & Up 50 yd) for seeding purposes for our first meet. We will have unofficial time trials at the already scheduled practice times on Thursday. There is no penalty for not having a previous time, it is just a baseline for the season.

Waverunner Pool Deck Norms & Procedures

I wanted to touch base on a few housekeeping items that I have observed the first week of practice:

Please help us leave the pool deck better than we found it. Return all chairs and furniture to its appropriate place and position. This includes folding the HOA umbrellas back down, throwing away your trash, and taking all of your possessions with you.
Please refrain from sitting in the lawn chairs directly behind the coaches. The pavilion areas, large sitting area, and the lawn chairs along the far side are all okay to sit at.
I mentioned this at our 8 & Under practices last week, but please let our coaches coach. We have done an amazing job of hiring six highly qualified coaches with multiple certifications, something most teams don't have, for our swimmers to learn from. If one of them needs your assistance, they will communicate that with you. But once we have our Waverunners in the pool and pool deck during practice times, we need their attention on their coaches. Team Shirts & Caps

We will be handing out team shirts and caps on Thursday at practice
